More so, gorilla trekking in Rwanda can be quite tiresome but greatly rewarding when you finally get into close view of one of the families of these giant primates.

Tour Itinerary
When you arrive at Kigali airport in the morning your guide will first take you for a half-day tour of Kigali city, have lunch at a restaurant and later in the afternoon transfer to volcanoes national park.
After breakfast, you head to kinigi visitor center meet other visitors for briefing. A cup of coffee is served as local dancers entertain you. Afterwards, you head to the forest edge and start hiking through the forest.
Trekking can take 3-5 hours but it worth it to spend 1 hour face to face with gorillas in their natural habitat. You will have lunch when you return from the gorillas and later in the afternoon go for a cultural walk at Iby’Iwacu cultural village.
There are many activities such as visiting king’s house where you dress as king and queen, learning how to cook or use of herbs as medicine, visiting BaTwa. To have cultural encounter, we recommend overnight at iby’iwacu cultural village rather than visiting for afternoon time.
After breakfast, embark on the drive that will bring you back to Kigali city for departure. End of Tour
